Energy consumption plays an important role in the total project lifecycle cost. Over the course of years of operation, there can be significant wastes of energy, resources and money due to poor design and construction. BEXEL's team of architects and engineers has the qualifications to assess and monitor building's overall energy consumption and suggest viable improvements.
Using our proprietary BIM-based energy analysis framework, we can provide our clients with precise analysis of thermal conditions, natural ventilation, heating and cooling potential and fluid dynamics, in general. We also analyze and possibly suggest changes to the entire HVAC system, based on the outputs of calculations related to sun light, solar energy potential and other thermal energy sources.
The goal of these analyses is to provide information as to how building's needs for energy may be satisfied using cleaner, cheaper, alternative sources of energy and by introducing minor changes in order to optimize the use of energy and reduce waste.
